I think websites are a pretty bad place to look. They are often out of date and they often misrepresent things.
I remember helping out at a rush over at one of the schools up the street from mine a few years back. I remember getting my hands on a rush pamphlet published by another house (which was suspended a couple of years ago when a kid died from alcohol poisoning). The pamphlet was full of blatant lies. Rush is very competitive. I would not take a website or brochure published by the organization itself at face value.
Rush is very competitive at some schools. If you're in an NPC organization, unless you've been involved in fraternity rush, you really aren't going to have a very good idea as to how things work. It's often very, very shady.
