My grandfather was the president of Bethune-Cookman College before Dr. Bronson became president. My grandfather was inducted into membership of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in 1951.
Right now, the new president of BCC is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
