I go to school in VA and live in MD for clarification. If you re-read my post I clearly stated, "Moreover,
I've never seen a drug dealer look raggedy". It's all in what is raggedy to you. Raggedy to you may mean baggy jeans and an oversized t-shirt, but that outfit may be Sean John. I'm just saying, Aloving1 finds it hard to believe that a bumb/drug dealer walked into a LV store with crumpled bills totaling $2,100 and wasn't dressed to the "T". The story doesn't seem straight to
ME. I didn't say darling1 was confused or never saw a raggedy drug dealer. Don't know you or what you have seen.
Someone drops parts to a story, people assume or make judgments based on those parts and gets jumped on because they don't "keep up with the Joneses". Then out of the blue new parts to the story come up to better prove an alternative point and in turn people are being responded to inappropriately.
There's no problem with a thread moving in another direction, however don't beat around the bush; start off with what you really want to say.
For example: I was in a LV store and a black, raggedy looking drug dealer-I think he was-walked in and was rummaging through his pockets looking for $2,100 in crumpled bills to pay for his special shipment from France. Now I don't know about you but I try to keep up with the Joneses cause I care about what white people think about me in today's society. How do you GC posters feel?
But perhaps you have been fortunate enough to not have to deal with institutionalized racism.
As you stated you don't know where I live or who I am for that matter. I never said I disagree with where the story has gone, I just didn't like the means that was used to get there and the jabs made to prove a point. Sounds like some personal issues are going on. But that's just MY interpretation.
