The article is very misleading. Because this man only inherited one half of each parent's DNA (and they inherited only one half from each of their parents, and so on), he could be (and likely is) of African descent. This type of DNA test does not show it, because the African was simply "washed out", so to speak. In Ford's case, he should not get a DNA test, he should get a grip.
