I've seen some mean brides -- some worse bride's maids. My wife was a bride's maid (or is it matron? I don't keep up with this stuff) recently. She then proceeds to tell me that I can't sit at the head table with my wife. What a jackass. We no longer socialize with her.

You sound like me...LOL. I always have to ask people which is which. I think it's the Matron of Honor that's the married one. Don't quote me on that.
Special occasions and life changing events like weddings bring the crazeeeeee out of some people.
