to add to the confusion, i would go slightly against lilchiolady's advice, and say to attend all three prefs. often at prefs., the choices become clearer to the pnm.
you do not have to put all three sororities on your bid card(no matter what your rho chi might believe)-you do not even have to sign your bid card, should you continue to feel that the sororities are not the right fit for you. if you go thru prefs. you will at least have seen the entire formal recruitment process and might be less likely to always wonder "what if?".
