I just saw the commercial advertising one of mercedes benz's sports coupe. It has a man leaving his office job and hopping into his benz, then the next thing you know he his pulling up the the red carpet at the club with his girl. The whole time the commercial is playing, you hear the new '06 remix to "The Jeffersons" theme ("Movin' on Up).
Now I really find this to be degrading! Why do marketing analysists insist that the only way to catch our attention in commercials is to involve snappy hip hop music or food? Could you please give my people some credit? Why we got to pull up to the club in our benz...how come we can't pull up to the White House, or pull up to the school to drop our kids off? Dayum! Dayum! Dayum!
