Pray for a Sister
I am just posting this here to ask you all to pray for one of our sisters in the Delta Eta chapter. She has a rare condition called Histiocytosis X, which afflicts 1/200,000 people (meaning that not much research has been done on it). Her body produces non-cancerous tumors, which cause her a lot of pain. She dealt with this in middle school as well, but was able to fight it off with Chemo. Recently, it has come back strong, and she has had to have a portion of her skull and her hip removed. It is a possibility that she may have to have her entire hip removed, and go through chemo again. Our chapter is doing as much as we can to help her with a plan called Attack!!! We are going to the pool with her in the mornings to excercise with her in a non-painful way, and many other things to help her. She told the chapter about this last night, and we are hoping that though the power of prayer, she will be able to overcome this and continue to be the amazing, optimistic, fun person that she is. If you could, pray for Katie, I know she would appreciate it. Thank you all so much!
Love in our Bond,
Kelly
