Hello, my name is Heidi and I'm a student in Madison WI. I'm in desperate and need each and everyone of you to help me! I'm writing a sociology paper on Greek life and whether or not it segregates or unifies? And at one time or another I've talked to each of you about this subject and was hoping that you would be able to give me your own opinions, perspective, personal experiences with the greek system, etcetera. I know we are all really busy people, especially at this time of the year, but I would greatly appreciate each of you taking two minutes to email me something. Some questions I've offered to get the ball running:
Is greek life a big issue on your college campus?
Have you ever been or are you in a fraternity/sorority? If so, were your experiences/have your experiences been good or bad?
Do you think being in a sorority/fraternity unifies/segregates a campus? In what ways is the presence of greek life unifying? In what ways is it segregating?
Do you think that being involved in greek life makes a college student more involved in the overall community spirit of the campus?
Do you think hazing and initiation rituals are unifying or segregating?
