New Grand Officers elected at 74th Grand Conclave.
Per information received, the following brothers were elected Omega Psi Phi's new Grand officers to the Supreme Council Wednesday, July 26, 2006:
Grand Basileus: Brother Warren G. Lee, Jr., a business consultant in Dallas,TX, who's served as Second Vice Grand Basileus (National Undergraduate Vice President)when he was a student at his Alma Mater, UT-Austin and as Grand Keeper of Finance.
First Vice Grand Basileus: Brother Carl A. Blunt, a banker at Wells Fargo in Scottsdale,AZ, who's served as Grand Keeper of Finance, 12th District Representative and the President of the Omega Development Corporation.
Second Vice Grand Basileus: (information not supplied)
Grand Keeper of Records and Seal: Brother Charles Bruce, a National Merit Scholar and Purdue graduate in Engineering, he's a former 10th District Representative, who's a Vice President of the Emerson Electric Corporation in St. Louis.
Grand Keeper of Finance: Brother Antonio "Tony" Knox, an accountant in Raleigh,NC, who's served as 6th District Representative and recently as Chairman of the Fiscal Management Committee. He's also served his Alma Mater, N.C. State University, where he pledged Omega, as Chairman of the Chancellor's Advisory Committee.
Grand Counselor:Brother Michael Adams, Esq., a practicing corporate attorney and partner in the law firm of DeCuir, Clark & Adams in Baton Rouge, LA, is the current 9th District Counselor. A Southern University alumnus,where he pledged Omega, he's served as Basileus of Lambda Kappa Kappa Graduate Chapter in Baton Rouge and Chairman of International General Membership.He's a member of 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge and Chairman of the Deacon Board of Gloryland Missionary Baptist Church.
