More FAQ/FMS:
"Didja hit/pound it?" (Usually asked by either my oldest or youngest brother or by a non-Christian colleague when I tell them I went out on a date with a woman--as a result I started to only mention such events to only Christian friends).
"Did you take/pass the CPA exam?" OMG, do you know how flippin' difficult that is to pass? Heck, I failed the Auditing portion by 1 point and I studied that mess forwards and backwards and in my sleep.
"I saw your brother today" That is one of the most annoying phrases I hear. First of all, I have 7 of them, 5 on my mom's side, 2 on my dad's, so I don't know who you are talking about. When asked specifically who they say, the response is usually, "I don't know his name, but I saw him at [location]". Usually, to avoid confrontation, my response to the original statement is to the effect of "That's nice" or "That's wonderful".
