Thats cool!! Yeah those 3.8s arent to big on the power, the newer(99+ V6s) arent too bad though.
I think those look better without the spoiler. My brother has a 97 Cobra and we took the spoiler off and it looked much better... ALOT more aggressive looking. They also look pretty mean with a set of 17" wheels, and about a 2" drop.

Do you want an actual roll bar or the kind that they have on the Salleen converts?? Basically a "Black Loop". I have half of the roll bar in mine, didnt get to finish before I left. But I need that for racing. Im so excited about getting mine back it hurts!! I sold my old 88 LX alittle over a year ago and had to get my kicks from my brothers car when I could. They are addicting, thats for sure!!

We bought it used-it was a rent car for 1 year. Yes, I guess it is a 3.8, it is about as fast as a Pinto. I am going to redo the interior next year and re-paint. Good luck with your car and rebuilding it. I saw a convertible LX (probably late 80's early 90's model) the other day and it was soooooo nice-they must take very good care of it or just had it re-painted/new interior as it looked like they just drove it off the car lot that day. I need to get a roll bar for mine.
