That's a complete fabrication and an insult to all those dedicated movie makers in Hollywood sitting on their asses at Starbucks.
And I bet the next thing you're going to tell me is that they make second-rate American remakes of great international films...why show some dumb movie about soccer when you can have Jimmy Fallon (who can never remember his lines) and Drew Barrymore swap spit over one of the most famous stories in baseball.
