i think the main point you're missing is: they're ILLEGAL.
is it legal to go and kill someone? no - you get punished for your crime. if you think about it, it's kinda almost along the same lines, because it's the LAW.
don't get me wrong, i have absolutely no problem with immigrants, as long as they're legal. i do, however have a problem with those who are here illegally, and yet seem to have the same benefits that are offered to me. hey, if i have to pay uncle sam 30% of my income, then by God so can everyone else that resides in this country.
