Ok, killer, lets cut to the chase. The REAL reason you quit is the following...

So, this is what I think happened. You'd decided that you want to pursue this IP law degree and going through rush you were like, "Hey, An Engineering and Science geared social Fraternity, that will look GREAT on my resume!" (and I'm not blaming you man, if that was my cup of tea I would come to the same conclusion). So you joined, and surprise, surprise, the social aspect is somewhat lacking compared to the true social fraternities. Chances are, you had buddies that joined the social frats and you saw them having a blast. You began to question your decision, thinking that you shoudln't have sacrificed a great social scene for a resume builder. It was at this point you started to look for an excuse to drop out, and VOILA, finals gave you just that excuse.
Nothing upsets me more than guys who use grades as an excuse to quit Greek Life. I graduated with a 3+ GPA and was active in a variety of other organizations besides my fratenrity. I had numerous brothers who were constant 4.0 performers and went on to law school and med school at Harvard and Yale(not trying to bring up that damn 'elite' argument again, but y'all get my drift). So I'm callin BS on the academic reasons for quitting.
