Something about this thread, other than the house you've described, smells a little dirty.
However, if you are for real - why ask strangers if you did the right thing? You're a grown up now (almost), so you should be able to answer for yourself whether quitting an organization that is a detriment to your social life and academic life is the right thing. I'm glad you changed from "one with chicks" to " like some parties where I can meet some nice ladies...not in a creepy way but I expect there atleast to be SOME females at a party...". I'm almost convinced this is a real situation.
