Point System-how does it work in your chapter?

Hi Greek Chatters,

I am doing some research on the point system. I want to lobby to empliment it into our chapter but I want to hear some of the positive AND negative aspects of such a system.

Do people see it as a way of encouraging their chapter members to be active?

-or-

Is it a punishment for members who dont have the time to be as active in their chapter as others?

Has it hurt anyone's chapter and how do YOU usually weight points (i.e. intramurals, greek sing, exec. positoins, grades)?


any discussion on this would be GREATLY appreciated. I also would not mind e-mailing or chatting with people on AIM about the subject. I think it would help our chapter a lot!
