While there will, unfortunately, be mis-informed that will always spread untruths about sororities and fraternities, there are always situations where Greeks spread unfounded rumours against other Greek organizations. Are they jealous, or think that they are better than the other group or whatever or a XQY stole my bf/gf??
I just saw another post about a store not accepting orders from a particular sorority b/c of a sister who used foul language.
So, to paraphrase Pogo, "We has met the enemy and he is us". Let's not cut down other Greeks; it affects us all and our future members.
BTW, I posted a response on
www.youthink.com about some great things that AGD and Sigma Nu have done recently...mine is the last post as of a couple of days ago..hope Aprily gets the hint that not all Greeks are self-absorbed twerps.
