While I'm not really a dog person (I have a tuxedo cat), I have very fond memories of my grandmother's miniature black poodle Snuggles. He was very sweet and very smart.
On occasion I would 'babysit' my friend's greyhounds and realized they must be the most 'cat-like' dogs I've ever seen (temperment-wise)
So maybe I could handle an Italian Greyhound (they can be litter box trained).
