Oscar Winner Jamie Foxx has some explaining to do. He has been at odds with Singer Mary J. Blige and her husband Kendu over some shady business dealings. A few weeks ago, Mary agreed to appear in Jamie’s NBC-TV special. She was promised a chance to perform her hit single, Be Without You, but the song was cut from the show. Then a few weeks later, after being snubbed, Mary agreed to participate with Jamie at a show featuring their duet Love Changes, a remake of the Mother’s Finest, Kashif & Meli’sa Morgan classic. When Mary showed up, she realized they wouldn’t be alone. Jamie had invited her ex, K-Ci Hailey of Jodeci, to sing along as well. Mary was in shock. Everyone knows how K-Ci abused and tortured her. Mary has turned her life around, and she is happily married. Why would Jamie do this? Mary didn’t bother to find out. She stormed out, and now her husband is ready to kick Jamie’s behind. First, he disrespected her on the TV show, now this. Spokespeople for Jamie say no harm was intended. What was he thinking, and why would he make an enemy of Mary? They are both topping the charts with their respective projects. Will they ever be friends or cordial again?

I wondered why Mary didn't sing her own song like others did. Angie didn't sing one of hers either (on the special).

The battle of the bulge continues for Janet Jackson. She is working hard on losing the weight she gained, and now her record company is threatening her. If she doesn’t lose weight, they won’t release her new album. Why are they putting her under so much pressure? She has been known to lose and gain. With the help of boyfriend Jermaine Dupri and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, she is looking to return to the top of the charts. The past couple of years have been rough on Janet. The Superbowl scandal, a failed album, reports of a secret child and her family’s financial needs have been draining her. Why is her record company doing this to her? She is trying to lose weight, but now that she is older, it’s harder to lose the weight. She’s having a tough time, but Janet is determined to shed those pounds.

Why doesn't Janet have her OWN label? Why can't she let Virgin drop her and then get her own gig? Folks better learn from Prince and do their own thing. She's been in the business too long to let a record label dictate to her!

Now speaking of losing weight, Star Jones has lost over 150 pounds, and word has it, that might not be the only thing she loses. Sources say she may be losing her high profile job on the daytime talker The View. Producers are said to be interviewing actresses to replace her on the show. According to published reports, the bosses are not happy with Star and her stubborn and combative behavior. Her voice is needed on that show. Who would replace her? Would it be another African American woman? Has Star worn out her welcome? She is scheduled to be at the show’s Las Vegas promotion, but what will happen after that?

Here’s an update on Singer Angela Bofill who suffered a stroke a few weeks ago. The singer is still suffering from paralysis on her left side. She is undergoing speech therapy, but she’s able to write notes with her right hand. She is still unable to walk, but she has some feeling in her left leg. A benefit is taking place on March 11th in Englewood, New Jersey to help with her medical bills. Bofill didn’t have insurance.

Lenny Kravitz is ready to make his acting debut in the movie Iced. Monster’s Ball Producer Lee Daniels is in charge of the project. Kravitz is set to play a musician addicted to crack.

R Kelly’s brother Kerry is ready to talk. Kerry is releasing a DVD that will detail his brother’s fondness for lewd acts, domestic violence and kinky sex.

Bernie Mac is teaming up with Terrence Howard for the movie PDR: Philadelphia Department of Recreation. The movie is based on the life of Jim Ellison, a city worker who helped to turn a group of inner city kids into one of the best swim teams in the country during the 70’s.

More men are coming forward with tales of wild sex with former American Idol Contestant Clay Aiken. Aiken has always denied he was gay. He always portrayed himself as a goody goody, but has he been meeting men online for sexual encounters? His record company, RCA, is very upset about these revelations. They may delay releasing Clay’s next album until the scandal blows over. The men are talking about how they met Clay online, and then went on to have unprotected sex. Clay is denying the stories and says he is going to pray for those attacking him. He better start praying he can stay off the internet, or he is going to ruin his career. I’m sure former Idol Winner Ruben Studdard is somewhere shaking his head.

Until it blows over? If it was anyone else, they would shelve the project totally.

Actor Franklin Cover has died. Cover was best known as “Tom Willis,” the white neighbor on The Jeffersons. The late Actress Roxie Roker played his wife, Helen, on the show. Cover leaves behind a wife and two children. He was 77.

Prince is ready to hit the road this year. He is going on tour. His new CD, 31-21, arrives in stores next month, and he’s got a new band. He also has a new discovery. A hot female singer named Tamar. She’ll be traveling with him, and she will be featured on his new album. Tamar is the younger sister of Toni Braxton, and she used to be in the family group, The Braxtons.

Isn't this a contradiction? Prince "discovered" her, but she used to sing backup with Toni as a member of The Braxtons. This is the sister that the other "T" sister was mad @ when she was on "Starting Over". Tamar left The Braxtons with her own record deal. Anywho, it's a contradiction.

This female is enjoying a career resurgence after starting as a cheerleader, then a dancer and then a singer. She is now free to judge the world’s next superstar. Despite a fabulous career she is in constant need of attention. Despite having her own top-rated show, she recently went on a rival network, and cried her heart out to a famous TV personality. She cried: I need a man! Please help me! The problem is she already has a man, so why is she going on national TV crying for one? She’s hungry for attention. And, after two failed marriages and a string of disastrous romances, she can’t get enough attention. She is beginning to look like a fool who is falling apart. In the meantime, the top bosses at her regular gig are sick of her bizarre behavior and how she embarrassed them, when it was revealed she may have had an affair with a wanna be Idol.
