BITE YOUR TONGUE!!!!!!! There's an entire freaking mountain range between us and "that" city!!
Good article, especially when you read the whole thing (it's short). By Cris Carter: "The difference in the game for the Seahawks was not taking advantage of a dominant first half. Seattle allowed the Steelers to get their feet underneath them and then watched Willie Parker break free for a 75-yard touchdown run right after halftime. In the end, it was too hard to overcome that 11-point deficit.
Yes, the officiating wasn't the best. But the Seahawks made enough mistakes to blame themselves, not just the referees."
Great post-game remark: "The heck with going to Disney World, I want to go to Kennywood!"
Detroit looked beautiful. Loved Aretha's half of the National Anthem.
And last remark for now: Pittsburgh - with the H - is the only city in the country with the H. In the late 1800's, they tried to standardize all of the "burgs" to Burg, without the H. However, the town fathers (correctly) argued that, due to Pittsburgh's Scots-Irish heritage, not German heritage, the name is spelled WITH the H. It's just one more thing that makes Pittsburgh stand out from the other cities.
