what do you think

Hello all, I am new to this board but I have read most of your comments to aspirants about pursuing greekdom. Anyways i just want to find out where I should go from this point because I am a soph. attending an HBCU and i just got my first semester grades and they were not what i wanted but I have to bare with them for now. I am so passionate about becoming a member Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. since I was a freshmen last year when I was exposed to them I made it one of my top college goals to become a member. Well now they are getting ready to have a line in the spring and i have been to ALL the events even the parties and they have gotten to know who I am so i'm pretty sure they will be expecting me to show up at the interest meeting when we get back. Due to a rough semester with calculus, I ended my gpa dropped from a 3.0 to a 2.8 cumulative. yet I have been highly involved in my community and campus. In my community, I just finished a case with Big Brothers and sisters of america, and at the begining of the semester I started volunteering at a mentoring program with children from 1st to 8th grade. On campus, I'm part of the american marketing association, Student Recruitment Team were I give tours of the campus and assist the Addmissions office and heavily involved on the fundraising committee. Sorry this post is so long but I just want an honest answer so I'm giving you all what I have on the plate. please respond and tell me what you think
