This is a really interesting topic. My sister is just now going through the "selection" process for a sperm donor. I've been helping her look through what little information they provide and I've gotta tell you, it's weird.
It's great that couples with fertility problems or women without a man handy can use sperm that's been donated but it sure brings along a lot of problems.
I think I would be okay with my bf donating sperm to some woman in, say, Norway. Anywhere where there wouldn't be any chance of coming across the kid or of the kid unknowingly meeting siblings. I don't know that I would have felt that way if I hadn't experienced the pain that my sister has gone through.
