Hey ya'll! Well, last night was amazing!! It was so awesome, and I still can't believe it happened! The ceremony was so beautiful, and I was trying really hard not to cry. I kept thinking 3 thoughts: Please don't let me cry; I can't believe this is happening; how am I going to remember all this?? Then, one of the new members' aunt was there, because the aunt is a DG too, and she started talking about how her niece was now her sister, and then I started to cry-it was so touching. It was so amazing-I'm still trying to take it all in.
Then, I went for dinner and drinks with my new sisters in the alum group, and they showered me with presents! Whitedaisy128 was there, and she is so awesome, she made me a basket of stuff that the collegians usually get. But what surprised me most of all, was a present from MS_GWYN!!! I was so shocked! She sent Whitedaisy a gift for me, and I swear, I about fell over-I was so in awe that she would do that for me. Everyone was too kind.
So, anyway, like I said, I'm still just trying to take it all in, and realize the fact that I am now a Delta Gamma ( I keep saying it, but it hasn't sunk in yet!
). I'm so honored to be a part of this amazing sisterhood, and I just can't wait to start giving back to it!
