The Republican tent, like the Dem tent, has many rooms, including one for religious nuts - those are the ones who want to control the way you live, and make sure you don't have more fun than they do.
The religious nuts have the ability to get on TV and in the newspapers at will, and the TV/newsp. love to show these nuts.
I'd compare the Republican nuts to the Democrat nuts (the Michael Moore, Soros, MoveOn.org, Dean, Kerry room in their tent), but the Dem nuts are currently in control.
