I am deeply saddened to hear of Ms. Parks' passing. My mother and I had the pleasure and honor of hearing her speak a few years ago. Eloquent is the best way to describe her.

Quote:
From Yahoo news:

"Everybody wanted to explain Rosa Parks and wanted to teach Rosa Parks, but Rosa Parks wasn't very interested in that," he said. "She wanted them to understand the government and to understand their rights and the Constitution that people are still trying to perfect today."
One of the main reasons I respected her so much is because she wanted people to understand and focus on the movement and not her per say. What she did was only a step that got everyone else running towards the finish line.

Thank you Ms. Parks.
My condolences to her family, friends, Sorors and many admirers.
