, I think Sloane may have been put back in jail because of him going off as a vigilante at the end of last season with Irina (if I'm remembering correctly) to go after that big monster machine that has now made Nadia sick, and I *think* I remember from the season finale that Jack told Irina to go before they found anyone to extract them.
