I think grey tweed is just as acceptable as brown or black. The basic colors are again the most versatile. Also, I'm not sure that the pink and green tweeds that you see for the summer and spring will still be in style come next year, even though you could probably get some great deals this time of year and save them for next year!
All this talk about office fashion makes me wish that I wasn't working towards a life of wearing scrubs...
