I really suck at dating
i guess i don't do it enough (which is true since i can count on one hand the dates i've had in the last 4 years)
i had a first date last night and i really dig the guy. but no kiss, no hug, nada. (although a handshake would've been worse than nothing, IMO)
it's just i'm not much of an initiator and it was a little awkward at the end just sitting in his car...we kept talking, it seemed like he was stalling but i couldn't tell what he was thinking. if he had walked me to my door i probably would've tried something
And I thought the date went pretty well - dinner, drinks, game of pool and a walk.
oh well, lesson learned. hopefully I'll get a 2nd chance.
