Cool My first event as a Gamma Phi Beta!

Hi, ladies!

I just wanted to check in and let you know I attended my first Gamma Phi event as a new member. This past Friday, Florida Tech had their "Meet the Greeks", which is sort of an open house/orientation for all the undergraduates so they could get to meet the different GLO's on campus. Gamma Phi, Alpha Phi and Phi Sigma Sigma all did video presentations and I was so impressed with them all, but Gamma Phi's was excellent and really stood out. They even inculded photos of the alumnae group and as an AI, that made me feel good! Before the presentations, I had the chance to meet about 1/2 the sisters and everyone was so friendly. I thought it was great that they had a name tag already made up for me. From what I understand, recruitment this year will be different than in years past (spanning a 2 week period with each sorority having 3 parties on different nights) and will be less formal. I will be attending my first bid-day and am very excited! I have already started my new member education and have decided on my badge. Can you tell I'm thrilled?

Have a great week and good luck to all the chapters during recruitment!
