Friend of Whitney (and Star Jones), Miss Vivica A. Fox
reveals to TV Guide's Nelson Branco that she is planning to star in and produce a TV biopic based on the tumultuous - to say the least - career of Houston.
“I have always loved Whitney and have been a fan from the beginning. I have all her records, and luckily, I have also been fortunate [to call her a friend],” says Fox.
Fox, who plans on using an upcoming authorized biography to tell the story, points out, “Whitney’s story reminds me of A Star Is Born. She’s suffered a few hits lately, but that’s what makes her a true star: you have to fall down and rise again. Her life story is simply incredible. I’d love for her to release a comeback and [soundtrack] record in relation to the movie.”
Drug use, anorexia scares, lesbian rumors, and of course Bobby Brown
all wrapped up in to one delicious TV movie will make this must-see TV indeed.
