buy another shoe tree and put your shoes on it. kindly point out that you need a little more space in the closet, and suggest that you all not rush out and buy new furniture-ask her to live with the leather furniture for a while before any new furniture decisions are made(i love leather-it can look very chic). it appears to me she is marking her territory. buying furniture together is just one more nail in the coffin of bachelorhood, buddy-and it doesn't sound like you are totally ready to give up bachelorhood yet. i wish you good luck.
