I know that I am a little late and I am also a first time poster to GC, but I had to respond to this topic.
I don't think that I am offering any new ideas, but I LOVE weddings...
Aside from my best pledge sis being my maid of honor, when I got married, I carried a complete bouquet of cream colored roses - the actual Delta Gamma Rose was difficult to find for some reason, but the cream colored ones carried the same meaning for me. I also had centerpieces made of cream colored (and pink) roses at our reception. My big and little did readings at the wedding, also
My sisters (most of my chapter was in attendance) did a song circle and sang "Delta Gamma Man" to my husband and "When You Go Away to College" - it was really moving... my husband is an SAE and his chapter sang "Violets" also.
