Just got back from the Tau Kappa Epsilon Conclave this past week in New Orleans, Louisiana!
It was an incredible event - Last Friday, thousands of Tekes paraded down Bourbon Street, headed by a dixie type band and the Grand Prytanis (President) on a Teke's shoulders...
Of course, the business/legislative side was just as amazing...
On a side note, if any of you are familiar with the "Hand Grenade" drink in New Orleans, it was created by a Teke who owns the Tropicle Isle sites on Bourbon... Teke flags flew all across...
It amazed me that one of our Grand Officers, who is a Senior NASA engineer, launched a shuttle last week, and made it in for Conclave the next...
sheesh...
