Today I recieved word from the local Alumane group for the "Pina Coladas" and I have been officially approved for Alumnae Initiation. For those of you who missed my earlier threads, I named them that due to a fabulous Southern Living cheesecake recipe I made to bring to one of their luncheons.
I am so thrilled! My new member training materials were sent out via UPS yesterday and the Alumnae president (my sponsor) recieved them today. We are going to get started as soon as possible and, god willing, I will be initiated with the new member class in the Fall (collegiate president has given her blessing).
I know I need to come up with some serious clues for you, but let's recap a few from my earlier threads. I'm located in what is commonly considered Central Florida. Remember that covers any and all colleges like: UF, Univ. of South Florida, Univ. of Tampa, UCF, Florida Tech, Florida Southern, Rollins College, Stetson University. In other words, I'm located somewhere in "Hurricane Alley" as I like to call it!
To throw you guys a bone, I will say that it is a 3 Greek letter sorority. So although I know Phi Mu, Delta Zeta, Delta Gamma, Alpha Phi, Chi Omega, Kappa Delta and Sigma Kappa are great groups, they are not my home.
I will say that although some of the southern states aren't as full of Pina Colada chapters as some other sororities, there definitely is space to expand.
I will think of more clues later! Thank you all for your support and encouragement!
