Hmmm...I wonder if any of these critics have even read the book?
Call their bluff and ask them if they have read any of the books cover to cover?

By the way, for everyone's interest, here is a list of The 100 Most Frequently Challenged Books of 1990–2000
Some of the books include: The Outsiders (by S.E. Hinton), The Catcher in the Rye (by J.D. Salinger), James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl, Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret by Judy Blume, and others! And yes, indeed, the Harry Potter series is in there too!
