Rush theme and ideas needed
I am rush chair at Nu Chapter in Berkeley, CA and am looking to put on a great rush for the fall. This year has the potential to be the biggest rush yet so I really want to do it up right. I am looking for a general theme that can tie rush shirts, flyers, banners, and even a few of the rush events together.
If you guys have any suggestions that went well for you or even went well for other fraternities on your campus but you can’t use because they have already been done please share.
To kinda give you a basic idea of what I'm talking about here is one idea the brothers and I have been throwing around. A sex, drugs, and rock n roll theme, have the shirts and flyers and banners have pictures of Ron Jeremy, Willie Nelson, Elvis, and maybe some other of the crazy TKE alumni on them with some catchy slogan like "sex, drugs, and rock n roll... TKE the best years of your life". Also have some of the events be little off the wall, have a jam night for rock n roll, hooters night for sex, and a hookah night for drugs.
I like this theme but I don’t think it appeals to all the kids on my campus, so if you have any ideas I would much appreciate them, even if its for one aspect of the many things needed for rush i.e. shirts, flyers, events.
