whenever we get to the la area we go to santa monica/malibu and ventura. one of my sisters owned a condo out in santa monica right off santa monica blvd, so we had some good times there ... and malibu is just a nice place to spend the afternoon.
the boy lives in ventura, and its always nice to go there, because its relaxing. Its a whole other world compared to Vegas.
if you get a chance to run around and drive places, you should def. check out the PCH and drive down it. even if you cant really stay long, or do much there - its still a really beautiful scene. and theres a road you can drive up from the PCH that takes you up thru the hills of LA (??) im guessing, and it drops you down somewhere in the middle of LA at like jerrys famous deli....
