I saw the movie twice. Overall it was an excellent movie, except for the romantic cheese. There's nothing wrong with romance if its done right. Lucas can't do it right.

Best bad ass moment was when Yoda felled the two chamber guards, with the flick of a Force powered wrist, in Palpatine's office near the end.

The acting ranged from god-awful ("I love you!" "No, I love you more!") to the amazing performance by Ewan McGregor near the end. His "you were my brother" speech clarified the Shakespearian quality of the movie. He deserves at least an Oscar nomination.

The best twist came when Darth Vadar learned that he killed Padme. She basically died of a broken heart because Anakin turned to the Dark Side to save her life. Lucas then pulled his Frankenstein homage, which was sort of cool. What he really should have done was present the clear Shakespearian tragedy that was there.
