I know that this is not an example of a national founder's legacy, but there is a girl in my pledge class that is an 8 time direct legacy to our chapter (Mom, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother.... etc). In addition, all of her aunts and cousins on her mom's side of the family are also members! Her great (times 6!) grandmother was the founder of our chapter!
I always thought it was neat when she would wear t-shirts that her grandmother and aunts had in college. There are some from the 70's when her mom was President. We were all amazed at the cute stuff that she had given to her at our Initiation! Although they weren't always in the best condition, seeing the "1967 Spring Fling" formal shirt and "1975 Christmas Dance" sweatshirts passed down to her was pretty amazing!
I think its awesome how much her family has had an impact in our chapter & the significance all the women in her family share by all being members!
