I'm usually low key when it comes to getting a guys attention, unless I'm out w/ some of my more "loud friends"(for lack of a better adjective). So, usually if I think a guy's cute or whatever and I notice him looking at me, I just make eye contact and do the looking away-looking back again thing. It usually seems to do the trick
