an embarrasing moment:
my high school nickname was Rah-Rah, and at our Capping Ceremony (Senior Awards) all my friends were yelling out "Yeah Rah-Rah!" from the audience. Well, my MOM decides that SHE TOO is going to call me Rah-Rah, from the front row. So, you know how moms always mess up some slang with the wrong voice inflection? Well, she's like "yeah rah-RAH!"
Okay, my friends didn't really play up the fact that my mom was loud and embarrassing. They were like
"Okay, Miss dardenr's mom." What was EMBARRASING was the fact that the principal was sitting next to me, heard my mom from the audience, and in his deep, principal's voice, says: "Rah-Rah. Heh heh heh."
I just buried my face in my hands.
