I'm just annoyed because (at the risk of sounding like a valley girl) he's SO 2 years ago, lol. He's one of those guys who everyone loved to pass around on Napster in the dorms my freshman year. A few songs are catchy. He is awesome in concert.
I think he writes pretty decent songs but it makes me sick the way people turn him into this musical icon. His treatment at the Grammy's this year= Alicia Keys the year before. Yet we haven't heard much from her lately......
I know there are a TON of John Mayer fans on the board and don't get me wrong, I can see why people like him. I am more irritated with people acting like they 'discovered' him (you KNOW people that do that, i guarantee it) and us treating him like a god.
