Betarulz: Be Very Suspicious!
This is the thin edge of the wedge. Once they establish that they CAN require you to be 'certified', then they WILL adjust the system to suit the whims of lower level greek affairs types. Remember, when the income tax was instituted, there was an absolute cap of 1%. Some member of Congress complained that if given a chance, the gocernment might someday take as much as 10%! Of course, today, more than half of everything you make goes to taxes, and the govt. reserves for itself the 'right' to take as much as they want. THE ONLY 'CERTIFICATION' YOU MUST HAVE IS THAT PROVIDED BY BETA THETA PI national headquarters. Are the other campus groups 'certified'? No!
