ok girls, i'm gonna be nice and update you all instead of keeping you in suspense! Sunday nite was Preference nite. I went to pick up my invites Sunday morning and i was invited back to both so that was nice. The nites were over all sooo nice and I wasreally impressed with the serious side of Greek life.
The first group was decorated sooo nice. THey had candles everywhere. It was so pretty. They called out each of our names which was cool to feel like part of the group. They had really goo haugendaz cake too! The girls all did their speeches and readthings. It was really emotioal. Lots of the girls cried, it was hard not to cry too! They gave us all little cards too. Overall, it was really nice. This is a really great group, they are very diverse which is really nice.
The second group was really formal and pretty. When you walked up the sidewalk to their room,there were candles everywhere. The girls all dressed in black with pearls and greeted us when we came in. They then called out each of us and one by one took us to sign in and then sit at a table. The tables were decorated beautifully too. They gave us my favorite dessert too! Cheesecake with chocolate sauce squiggles on it and chocolate covered strawberry. They all talked to us about their favorite moments and every once in a while they wouldget up and read special things. It was really sweet. At the end, we all got in a circle and lit candles one by one while they sang. They then told us to blow them out and make a wish. It was really nice. THese girls are so sweet.
After the last party, we went and signed our bid cards......The next day, we get to find out who picked us. So exciting!!!
