I really recomend you talk to someone in the residence life office and plead with them to be put on a waiting list to be moved to a freshmen dorm/floor. I know it may be rough waiting, but it will be worth it if they put you in a regular dorm...I was stuck in a upperclass dorm that had suites and all the girls were already best friends so making friends with them was next to impossible...I don't want to freak you out, but good luck with it, and really try to talk to someone in res. life.
