Right now I am reading several books:
Meditations from the Mat: Daily Reflections on the Path of Yoga by Rolfe Gates
The Secret Power of Yoga: A Woman's Guide to the Heart and Spirit of the Yoga Sutras by Nischala Devi
The China Study: The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition Ever Conducted and the Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss, and Long Term Health by T.Colin Campbell & thomas M. Campbell II
Walden by Henry David Thoreau
I just finished Crazy Sexy Diet by Kris Carr. I liked this book a lot except for one small blurb in the beginning, when she is telling her story and she was wondering why she had developed cancer and mentioned all of her positives including being a Democrat. The way she worded it sounded like because she was a faithful Democrat/liberal she did not deserve cancer. That offended me a bit because no one deserves to get cancer in general, much less due to their political affiliation or beliefs. I may be making too much of it, but I found that statement a bit silly and outrageous.
