Rob Lowe's career was seriously side-tracked because of that incident - he was charting a career in the movies and now he's on TV - but the other difference is there wasn't the alleged "history" of dealing with underage girls and this one tape being some evidence of it - or if it was there it didn't come out in the same way with R. Kelly with all kinds of folks saying he had a proclivity to deal with young girls.
