I was born in another country and I think it was somewhat of an advantage, being from another country, having an accent, it was a great conversation starter and girls remembered me that way. We had girls from South Africa, England, Jamaica, and Mexico so it was pretty cool. On a side note, we were all full time student's and not doing study abroad from another country. I am not sure what the rules are with someone who is doing study abroad because I woud think the chapter would want the sister there for as much time as possible and not just a semester.
