Maybe it's just the difference in terms that's throwing me off (my school didn't do the "regret" ranking system until after I graduated).

At UCF, let's say on day 1, UCF day, the girls would rank the houses they want to go back to. They can only go to 7 the next day. So the girls would rank 7 houses as #1 and then the other 3 (in order) as 8, 9, 10. So in a PNM's mind, that is almost saying "I want to drop 8, 9, 10"
However, on day 2, philanthropy day, if the girl only got invited back to 5 of her "#1 houses" AND 8 and 9 invited her back, then the girl would go to her top 5 plus 8 and 9. To maximize bid opportunity UCF requires all PNMs to go to your scheduled list, you cannot decline anyone.
And this cycle continues on for video day and what not.
Did I clear up what she probably meant by "dropped" ?
